Jet Engine Design

Status: Complete

Designed, drawn, and animated in Solidworks, this CAD assembly was made with an attention to detail in all the mechanical parts.

The next step down the line would be to add all the auxillary systems, such as fuel, control, sensor, etc.

Project Type: Personal Design Project

At an overview level, this engine takes inspirations from the highly successful engines from GE, RR, PW, etc. For example, the fan blades resemble those of GE and PW's, and the turbine and compressor blades resemble those of RR's. At a smaller scale, the mechanical parts still moderately maintain the level of detail, but the various non-mechanical systems are not present and are an area of further development.
